First the bad news: Mad Alex Products is closing its doors for good on December 21st, 2012.

The good news, however, is that so many wonderful allergy-friendly and gluten-free products are now available in your local supermarkets and health food shops. While you may not find some of your favorites, there is more availability of these items than ever before. Every day more manufacturers are becoming aware of the need for safer practices and more businesses are directly catering to the allergy community. Our hats go off to those companies that have made our lives a bit easier and tastier!

The other good news is that everything left on our shelves on closing day is being donated to FoodShare (a Connecticut-based food bank) so their recipients can enjoy gluten-free and allergy friendly treats for the holidays.
